ASBA Study Club Seminar

American Sleep & Breathing Academy Study Club

The ASBA Study Club seminars redefine what a successful dental sleep weekend course can be. Each Study Club is led by ASBA Diplomates (D’ASBA) who focus on giving attendees the skills to implement sleep apnea dentistry in their own practices.

$2,495for ASBA Members

One key difference sets this apart: the ASBA Study Club does not allow product-specific presentations unless competitive or comparable products are presented alongside them. That context encourages open, honest discussion of clinical best practices and stronger revenue models.

Day 01

Foundations in Sleep Medicine

The first day of the ASBA Study Club is an opportunity to deepen your knowledge and expand your network in sleep medicine. Day One combines expert presentations, interactive workshops, and open discussion. Participants can expect:

  • Cutting-edge insights into the latest research and innovations in sleep and breathing disorders.
  • Networking with physicians, dentists, and specialists advancing treatment in this field.
  • Hands-on workshops that sharpen practical skills and the application of treatments such as sleep apnea therapy and respiratory care.

Day One sets the foundation for the meaningful dialogue and learning that carry through the rest of the event.

Day 02

Advanced Practice & Strategy

Day Two builds on that momentum, going deeper into advanced topics and specialized practice within sleep medicine, with further education and practical strategies to improve patient outcomes. Key highlights include:

  • Advanced clinical workshops exploring sleep diagnostics, treatment modalities, and long-term care strategies for sleep apnea.
  • Real-world case studies from leading practitioners, followed by discussion of the challenges and successes behind them.
  • Collaboration with industry leaders and peers to share best practices across the field.

Each presenter shares their personal strategic plan and the key decision points that make or break a new practice — so you can test your understanding against the standard of care each ASBA Diplomate follows, through open discussion.

$1.5M+Annual revenue of every ASBA Diplomate who teaches. No two practices are alike, and at least three presenters lead each Study Club.

Expect a tremendous amount of personalized advice and specific, step-by-step guidance to help you build a successful sleep business of your own.

Training in sleep apnea dentistry has become rife with people overstating their abilities and experience — selling substandard equipment at inflated prices to an unsuspecting group of clinicians who simply want to treat their patients.

— David Gergen, CDT

This past weekend, over half of the attendees had been to more than one vendor-sponsored seminar in the last year. As a group, none of them had managed to gain any traction with sleep apnea dentistry in their practice.

— Eugene Azuma, DDS

Why Dentists Choose the ASBA Study Club

The ASBA Study Club is more than a series of seminars — it is an academy built to help you grow your practice using proven methods, taught by dentists who have built sleep practices generating over $1.5M a year, the right way.

The format is unique, affordable, and designed to give you the tools to perform at the level of your mentors. Many attendees leave calling it the most vital, essential, and powerful dental sleep learning event they have ever attended.

Because each group is limited to 12 offices, there is room for focused, one-on-one discussion — with answers shaped for the realities of your specific region.

The program suits practices just beginning with sleep apnea treatment as well as those that have yet to reach their potential. You will hear from doctors across a wide range of markets — from populations of 100,000 to 4.5 million — on how they grew their dental sleep practices. These are real ASBA members who were once in the same position you are in now. Learn from their successes at the ASBA Study Club.
